Flood Relief & Mobile Medical Support
Project Brief:
Rapid-response mobile boat clinics and emergency relief kits providing clean water chlorine tablets, essential medicines, and temporary shelter kits during Brahmaputra monsoon floods.
Project Context:
Annual riverine floods displace thousands of river island (char) families, destroying tubewells and causing severe water-borne epidemic risks. Zycon provides rapid medical relief.
Project Goal:
To prevent post-flood disease outbreaks and support vulnerable flood-affected families with rapid medical triage and relief supplies.
Project Objectives:
- •Operate boat and mobile medical clinics treating water-borne infections.
- •Distribute 1,500 emergency hygiene, food ration, and clean water kits.
- •Disinfect village shallow tubewells post flood-water recession.
Project Activities:
Mobile Boat Medical Clinics:
Physicians and paramedics visiting cut-off char habitations with emergency prescription drugs.
Water Purification & Disinfection:
Distributing water purification tablets and chlorinating flooded public water points.
