Project Brief:
Operating community-level after-school learning hubs where first-generation school learners receive free tutoring in STEM subjects, language skills, and foundational computer literacy.
Project Context:
Children from agricultural and daily-wage families often struggle with homework and foundational mathematics due to lack of academic support at home. Zycon's learning centers prevent dropouts and build future confidence.
Project Goal:
To guarantee quality remedial education and bridge the digital divide for underprivileged students in semi-rural Bengal.
Project Objectives:
- •Operate 8 community learning centers with trained volunteer mentors.
- •Achieve 95% school retention and 30%+ grade improvement for enrolled students.
- •Distribute free school bags, notebooks, and learning materials annually.
Project Activities:
Daily After-School Tutoring:
Structured remedial classes in mathematics, science, Bengali, and English.
Computer & IT Workshops:
Hands-on computer labs introducing typing, internet research, coding basics, and digital safety.
