Honey Mission: Scientific Beekeeping Collective

Honey Mission: Scientific Beekeeping Collective

Project Brief:

A high-impact agro-ecological program training smallholder farmers in scientific apiculture (beekeeping), providing bee boxes, and establishing direct processing for pure raw honey.

Project Context:

Smallholder farmers face seasonal income gaps between crop harvests. Beekeeping requires minimal land, increases crop yields through natural cross-pollination, and produces high-value pure honey.

Project Goal:

To double farmer household earnings through ecological apiculture while protecting native bee populations and boosting agricultural yields.

Project Objectives:

  • •Train 250+ rural youth and farmers in queen bee management and honey extraction.
  • •Deploy 500+ scientific wooden bee boxes across mustard and sunflower belts.
  • •Harvest and market over 3,000 kg of pure, unadulterated raw honey.

Project Activities:

Scientific Apiculture Masterclasses:

5-day comprehensive field training covering bee biology, seasonal migration, and disease prevention.

Bee Box Installation & Processing:

Supplying subsidized standard bee boxes, extractors, and hygienic bottling packaging.
